Putting myself out of a job

By June 22, 2011April 1st, 2013No Comments

Today was the first day I started phasing out of my video editing job.  I leave tomorrow to head home and prepare for Jordan leaving Aaron in charge of the video.  Rather than leaving him high and dry I gave him a dry run today.  He did a great job, made an energetic video and got a lot of kids in the videos.  It was nice to not have to do anything but get video for most of the day.  I didn’t “go on a jog” but as I was filming I tried to jog / power walk around.  I like to think of it as a twofor.  Two things (work / exercise) for the price of one.  It worked out, got some great footage of kids jumping off platforms 30 & 70 feet off the ground, swinging down cables and grabbing onto bars.  Good times.

The rest of my day was primarily spent being a silly little hacker, hanging out with people and playing hanging with friends.  Nothing to productive.  I’ve been productive for two weeks straight, I needed a rest.  So rather than writing something deep and thought provoking today which obviously this blog is all about, I am going to post a devotional I wrote a week ago… Here Ya Go

Sad quote of the day
“Whats your name?”, “I don’t want to tell you so you can’t make fun of me.” (I guess I made a bad first impression)
